The new electric trucks will be part of Pickkup’s delivery fleet. They will be used for delivering goods for retail shops, e-commerce platforms, FMCG companies and even for transporting perishable items. The first phase of this rollout will begin in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, two major logistics hubs in India.
Pickkup already uses electric vehicles in its fleet and follows a smart, asset-light business model. The company operates in cities like Mohali, Chandigarh, Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. With the help of Eicher trucks, Pickkup will now be able to grow its network and serve more customers.
Key Features of the Eicher Pro X EV
The Eicher Pro X electric trucks are built at VE Commercial Vehicles’ facility in Bhopal, where advanced Industry 4.0 technology is used to improve production. One key benefit is their CCS2 fast-charging system, which helps the trucks get back on the road quickly. This is especially helpful for companies that depend on tight delivery schedules.
The trucks also come with smart tools such as the Eicher Uptime Centre and the My Eicher app. These help drivers and fleet teams keep an eye on things like performance, get alerts when something needs attention and stay updated in real time. With this support, the trucks are less likely to face breakdowns and stay in better shape for daily use.

We're seeing a shift — more logistics players are now open to going electric,” said Abhishek Chaudhary, Senior VP at Eicher Trucks and Buses. “Our EV tech isn't just about emissions — it's built to handle real-world delivery demands too.”
Ankush Sharma, the founder and CEO of Pickkup, shared a similar view. He said,
"We believe cutting down carbon doesn’t have to mean cutting back on performance. With Eicher on board, we’re able to grow our services and still stick to our goal of keeping things clean and sustainable."
A Greener Road Ahead
The tie-up between Eicher and Pickkup is another sign that India’s transport industry is shifting toward cleaner solutions. More and more companies are now looking at electric trucks as a real option for daily deliveries. This could mean less noise on the streets — and cleaner air too.
Eicher trucks have always been known for being tough and reliable. Now, with this electric push, they’re also playing a part in building a greener future. Moves like this might even push other logistics players to think about switching to electric.
