TVS Motor crossed 18,000 electric 3 wheeler sales in 11 months, reaching 6th rank in the segment with strong growth in November.

TVS Motor Company has created a solid milestone in the expanding electric mobility space of India. The company sold over 18,000 electric 3 wheelers within the first 11 months of 2025, which is honestly quite impressive for a brand that entered this market only recently. According to numbers available on the Vahan portal, TVS touched 18,116 units between January and November.

The most surprising part is November 2025, where TVS hit its highest-ever monthly sales with 2,871 units. This growth didn’t came overnight. The brand started slow, with just 133 units in January, but sales kept moving up almost every month. By April the sales had already gone over 1,000 units and then in July it moved past 2,000 also. After that November went even higher and became the best month so far. Because of this quick jump, TVS got almost 3% share in the market for that month and it even reached the 6th spot out of around 600 electric 3 wheeler brands.

The electric 3 wheeler market is already crowded with players like Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, Bajaj Auto, YC Electric and a few others. These brands entered early, but TVS is catching up faster than many expected. Probably the company’s strong dealer support, known brand trust and focus on quality helped it gain customers in a short time.
TVS is targeting both passenger and cargo segments with its TVS 3 wheelers, which gives the company a wider market reach.

TVS King EV Max: Passenger Segment Performance

The company’s journey in electric passenger 3 wheelers started with the TVS King EV Max. It comes equipped with a 9.7 kWh LFP battery, a claimed 179 km range and a top speed of 60 kmph, which is decent for city mobility. Drivers get three modes — Eco, City and Power. Charging is fairly simple too, with a full charge in about 3.5 hours.

The EV Max also brings connected features like Bluetooth alerts, last parked location and vehicle health checks. At present, it is available in states like UP, Bihar, J&K, Delhi and West Bengal.

TVS Expands with King Kargo HD EV

In August 2025, TVS entered the cargo space with the King Kargo HD EV. It offers an 8.9 kWh battery, a 6.6-feet loading deck and a strong warranty of 6-years or 1.5 lakh km. The model also supports SmartConnect with 26 connected features. It’s now sold in Delhi NCR, Rajasthan and Bengaluru.
