One of the main highlights was the launch of Prima 3540.K AutoShift tipper. This is the most powerful tipper from Tata made specially for deep mining operations. It comes with a Cummins 8.5-litre engine that gives 375 horsepower and 1800Nm torque. A 12-speed automated manual gearbox is given so that the driver does not feel much stress during long and difficult shifts.

Company officials shared that this model is expected to help mine operators work faster and with less vehicle stress. The tipper is made strong for rough sites and long working hours.

Electric Tipper for Zero-emission Work

Tata also introduced the Prima E.28K, a 28-tonne battery electric tipper. This model is developed for zero-emission operations. It can be used in shallow mining, mineral movement, and port-based work. The electric system reduces fuel cost and helps in lowering pollution at work sites.

This step shows how Tata is slowly moving towards sustainable and clean construction transport.

CNG Tipper Enters Heavy Truck Segment

Another big highlight was the Signa 2820.TK CNG tipper. It is India’s first factory-fitted CNG tipper in the 28-tonne category. This vehicle is designed to lower total running cost and support eco-friendly road and construction projects.

With factory-level CNG fitment, safety and performance are maintained while reducing harmful emissions.

Bigger Load and Stronger Body Trucks

Tata also showcased heavy-duty tippers like the Signa 4832.TK. It is a 48-tonne, five-axle tipper with a 32 cubic meter load body, mainly designed for coal transportation. Another model, Prima 3532.TK, was displayed with a 26 cubic meter load body for carrying construction aggregates.

These vehicles are built to handle higher load capacity and long-distance heavy transport.

New Industrial Engines and Digital Feet Support

Apart from Tata trucks, the company presented its industrial aggregate range. This included newly launched 15 kVA and 35 kVA gensets, BS-V compliant construction engines, and strong axle systems for better durability.

Tata also highlighted its support platforms like Sampoorna Seva 2.0 and Fleet Edge. These platforms help in better fleet tracking, maintenance planning, and lowering total ownership cost. This support system helps fleet owners to keep trucks running longer with better uptime.

With these launches at EXCON 2025, Tata showed strong intent to lead the future of mining and construction transport with stronger, cleaner, and smarter commercial vehicles.
