In Q4 FY26, the company did even better than before. The company sold a total of 1,32,465 units. This is an increase of about 25% compared to the same time last year.

The reason the company did well is that people started buying more in the second half of the year. There were goods to transport so transport companies needed more trucks and buses which is why the company sold so many units of trucks and Tata buses.

Almost Every Segment Did Well

This time, growth was seen in almost all segments. Heavy Tata trucks grew by about 14%. Light and medium trucks also went up by around 16%. Buses showed a strong jump of 31%, which is quite big. mall vehicles like pickups and mini trucks also increased by 17%. So overall, the market looked active.

Strong Support of the Indian Market

Most of the sales came from India. Domestic sales were 45,825 units in March, which is 18% higher than last year. But in international markets, there was a small drop of about 4%. If we look at the full quarter, India sales crossed 1,25,000 units, which is one of the better numbers in recent years.

Full Year Also Ended on a Positive Note

For the full financial year FY26, Tata Motors sold 4,28,329 commercial vehicles. This is 14 percent more than last year. Tata said that the first half of the year was not very strong. Now, things got better last month. The increasing demand for Tata commercial vehicles helped them to boost their monthly sales.

Electric Vehicles Growing Fast

Electric vehicle sales also increased a lot. The company saw about 59% growth in EV segment during the year. At the same time, some challenges are still there, like global tensions and diesel price changes. Even then, Tata Motors looks positive about future and expects steady demand for trucks, pickups and electric vehicles.
