The dedicated specification tab provide engine performance and the body configuration of the latest BharatBenz 1017 chassis. It has a unitised fuel injection system and runs on diesel fuel with a good mileage range. The new BharatBenz bus has a 4-cylinder powerful engine with a power of 170 horsepower and a high-end torque of 520 Nm along with an engine displacement of 3907 cc. BharatBenz bus chassis 1017 power transmission is controlled by a 6-speed manual gearbox. It follows the BS6 emission norms and runs on diesel fuel having a large fuel tank capacity of 160 liters. You will get this chassis without a face cowl and has a ladder-type channel with cross member chassis frame. Both the front and rear suspension have parabolic leaf springs with telescopic shock absorbers. New 1017 bus chassis will provide a ground clearance of 192 mm.
