It has a common rail fuel injection system and runs on diesel fuel with a good mileage range. The new Ashok Leyland bus has a 6-cylinder powerful H-series CRS iGen6 technology engine with a power of 200 horsepower and a high-end torque of 700 Nm along with an engine displacement of 5660 cc. The Ashok Leyland bus chassis power transmission is controlled by a 6-speed synchromesh gearbox. It follows the BS6 emission norms and runs on diesel fuel having a large fuel tank capacity of 185 and 239 liters. You will get this chassis without a face cowl and has a ladder-type channel with cross member chassis frame. Both the front and rear suspension have shackle-ended leaf springs.
