Healthy demand for Force trucks, Traveller and van platforms supports steady growth heading into 2026.

Force Motors Limited ended 2025 on a positive note as domestic sales grew strongly in both November and December. Demand for Force trucks, Force Traveller, Force Trax cruiser and other Force Vans helped the company post two consecutive months of solid growth, showing clear momentum as it steps into 2026.

The van-focused manufacturer reported higher volumes mainly due to its Urbania and Traveller platforms, which continue to perform well across passenger and institutional segments.

In November 2025, Force commercial vehicles recorded domestic wholesale sales of 2,765 units. This was a high jump in comparison to 1,736 units sold in November 2024. This translated into a strong 59% year-on-year growth.

The sales increased continuously in December 2025 and became 2,952 units and last year this was only 1,985 units. The 49% growth in December marked the company’s best monthly performance in the quarter, supported by steady demand for Force Vans and people movers.

Quarterly and Year-to-Date Volumes Improve

During the third quarter, Force Motors’ domestic wholesales grew by 47%, increasing from 5,723 units last year to 8,427 units this year. This shows improving demand across its core portfolio, including Force Traveller and utility-focused Force trucks.

The domestic units increased 25% and became 24,920 units from April to December 2025, which were 19,911 units in FY2024. The numbers reflect consistent growth through the year, not just festive-driven demand.

Tour, Travel and School Mobility Drive Demand

According to Managing Director Prasan Firodia, the growth reflects a revival in the tour and travel segment, supported by increased intercity movement and fresh fleet expansion by operators. School mobility also remained stable during the holiday season, showing confidence from institutional buyers.

Demand has strengthened across platforms, with Urbania gaining acceptance in both urban and emerging markets. The Force Traveller range continues to hold its position as a reliable choice for shared mobility and institutional use.

Product Platforms and Policy Support Help Sales

Sales were supported by the Urbania and Trax platforms. The Force Trax cruiser range benefited from GST adjustments on rural mobility vehicles, which improved affordability in semi-urban and rural areas.

This policy change encouraged fleet owners to replace older vehicles, especially where purchases had earlier been delayed due to pricing issues. The Traveller platform maintained steady volumes, while Monobus saw increased demand from schools and state transport departments.

Force Motors has exited three-wheelers and tractor manufacturing, focusing fully on vans and utility vehicles where it holds a strong market position.

Exports Lower, Domestic Market Remains Key

The total wholesale units in November increase 53% as this time there were 2,883 units more than the previous month, including exports. Although export units have decreased by 21% to 118 units. December export numbers were not shared.

Despite exports to regions like the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, domestic demand for Force Vans, Force trucks, and Force Traveller continues to remain the company’s main growth driver as it enters 2026.
