The vehicles were delivered at Luthra Group’s Surat office. These C3 CNG vehicles will be used for regular business movement and staff travel. In cities like Surat, companies usually run mini trucks, pickup trucks, and small CNG trucks, so running cost becomes more important than anything else. Citroën is clearly targeting this kind of customer.
C3 CNG Made for Daily Running
The C3 CNG comes with simple interiors, decent space, working air-conditioning, and suspension suited for Indian roads. The focus is not on extra features but on comfort for long daily use.
For businesses that already use Tata CNG trucks or other CNG commercial vehicles, the C3 CNG works as a lighter and easier option.
Growing Shift Toward CNG Vehicles
Fuel cost is a big issue for companies today. Because of this, many are moving away from diesel trucks and looking at CNG options. CNG vehicles are cheaper to run and easier to maintain.
Along with heavy trucks, even small fleets using pickup trucks are now adding CNG vehicles to control expenses.
Focus on Tier-II and Tier-III Cities
Citroën India is now looking more at smaller cities, not just big metros. People here want simple, practical vehicles that can be used every day and don’t cost much to run.
In these areas, mini trucks and CNG trucks are used a lot more than fancy or premium cars.
Tie-Up with Luthra Group
The partnership with Luthra Group helps Citroën grow its reach in Gujarat. For fleet owners, such vehicles help balance fuel cost and reliability, especially when heavy trucks are used only for bigger loads.
This delivery supports Citroën’s slow but steady expansion in India.
