Tata Motors Expands Commercial Vehicle Line-Up with New Truck Launch

Tata Motors has launched a fresh range of diesel and electric trucks to meet different transport and business needs across India.


Tata Motors is going to unveil a wide range of new commercial trucks on 20 January at around 11 AM. Many brand-new Tata trucks were introduced for different business needs.
This launching of new commercial trucks includes heavy and light commercial trucks with diesel and electric fuel options. The company kept logistics, construction, highway transport, city delivery and green mobility in mind.

The heavy-duty trucks are the key trucks of this new launch. The latest Tata Signa 3023 Truck is a 10-wheeler rigid truck. It can be used for construction work and material transport like sand and cement.

The brand-new Tata Signa 3725 Truck is a 12-wheeler 4-axle truck and is mainly meant for heavy load applications and big fleet operators. Tata Signa 4425 truck, suitable for mining and infrastructure work is also a new heavy truck. Tata introduced the latest Tata LPT 4932 is a 5-axle 16-wheeler truck and Tata Signa 4932 tractor-trailer. Another strong option in this segment is the recently launched Tata Signa 5532 – 4x2 FE Series, made for the high-capacity transport business.

ECE R29 Category Trucks

Tata Motors also focused on safety in this launch. The brand-new Tata Signa 5532 – 4x2 Tractor Trailer is an important model in this segment. Along with it, the recently launched Tata Signa 5532 6x2 was shown, which helps in better load balance and stable driving. The Tata Signa 5532.S 6x2 is a 3-axle 8-wheeler horse. 

The latest Tata Prima 5532 with ADAS level was also part of the launch. This truck comes with advanced driver assistance features and shows Tata’s move towards safer driving. In the same category, the brand-new Tata Ultra T.19 was introduced for medium-duty transport use.

Tata Azura Trucks Segment

Tata Motors introduced a new name in its commercial vehicle line-up called Tata Azura trucks. This segment mainly targets light and mid commercial vehicle users. The recently launched Tata Azura 1918 Truck is a 6-wheeler made for medium-load work. The brand-new Tata Azura 1212 Truck, also a 6-wheeler, is suitable for daily transport and regional delivery.

For small business owners, Tata launched the latest Tata Azura 710 Truck. This 4-wheeler truck is useful for city transport and last-mile delivery. The Azura range shows Tata’s focus on simple, practical and new-generation trucks.

Electric Trucks Segment

Electric trucks were another big highlight of the launch. Tata Motors introduced five electric commercial vehicles, showing a clear push towards clean transport. The brand-new Tata Prima E.55S is a heavy electric truck made for large transport operations. The recently launched Tata Prima E.28K supports electric haulage in a practical way.

In the medium electric segment, Tata introduced the latest Tata Ultra E.12, brand-new Tata Ultra E.9 and Tata Ultra E.7.
