MoEVing partners with Tata Motors to deploy 700 Ace EVs in 10+ cities, cutting carbon emissions and boosting clean last-mile deliveries.
Electric mobility start-up MoEVing has joined hands with Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles to roll out 700 Tata Ace electric mini trucks across more than ten Indian cities. The goal is simple but powerful — to push clean and efficient transport for businesses that depend on last-mile delivery.
The new fleet includes the Tata Ace EV and Ace Pro EV, also known as the famous “chota hathi” among small business owners. These mini trucks are well known for their strong performance and reliability and now they come with the added advantage of zero emissions.

Under this partnership, MoEVing will lease these vehicles from Tata Motors’ top dealer partners – Pascos, Johar Motors and Bhandari Automobiles. These EVs are meant for last-mile delivery work in e-commerce, retail, FMCG and logistics. They’ll be deployed in big cities — Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Kolkata — to make everyday deliveries greener.
The move is expected to cut down close to 2,000 tonnes of carbon emissions every year, a small but significant step toward India’s Net Zero 2070 goal. Once all 700 electric vehicles start running, they’re likely to clock more than 25 million green kilometres in a year. It’s a clear reminder that cleaner transport isn’t just a concept anymore — it’s already taking shape on Indian roads.
How the Partnership Works
According to the agreement, the Tata Motors dealers will own and maintain the fleet of electric mini trucks, while MoEVing will operate them in different cities. This model allows both companies to focus on their strengths – Tata Motors on vehicle reliability and service and MoEVing on smooth operations and fleet management.
This partnership will serve over 20 large enterprise clients across different sectors, helping businesses move goods efficiently while reducing their environmental footprint.

This partnership shows that clean, cost-effective and scalable transport solutions are no longer just ideas — they are becoming a reality on India’s roads. As more chota hathi electric vehicles join the fleet, India moves one step closer to a greener and smarter logistics future.
