October 2025 was a strong month for the commercial vehicle market in India. Total CV retail sales touched 1,07,841 units, which was a big rise from last year. It was 17.7% higher than 91,635 units of October 2024.
Compared to September 2025, the market also grew very fast with 49.52% MoM growth after selling 72,124 units a month earlier.
This strong demand came because of the festive season, government road and infrastructure spending, and the positive effect of the new GST 2.0 rules. Dealers said that demand can stay good till the end of the year due to the marriage season, harvest income and GST benefits.

Tata truck models continued to perform well in most categories, even though Mahindra grew faster this month.
