In August 2025, Force Motors sold 2,295 vehicles in India. That’s about 6.6% more than the same time last year, when they sold 2,153 units. Most of these were from its popular range – including Force Traveller, Force vans and Maxi cabs.

People use these vehicles for different reasons – travel, school buses, company vans, or even ambulances. Many businesses also prefer vans and maxi cabs for passenger transport, thanks to their low running cost and durability.

This rise in domestic sales shows the company is still doing well in the Indian market. That’s a good sign, especially when some auto companies are facing slowdowns.

Exports Didn’t Do So Well

While Indian sales went up, export numbers dropped quite a bit. Force Motors exported only 108 units in August 2025, compared to 146 units in August 2024. That’s a drop of over 26%.

The reason? Not fully clear. It could be global market issues, shipping delays, or less demand overseas. Either way, it’s something the company may want to work on.

Total Sales Still Grew

Even with lower exports, the overall numbers are still better than last year. In August 2025, Force Motors sold a total of 2,403 units, both in India and abroad. In August 2024, they had sold 2,299 units in total. That gives them a year-on-year growth of 4.52%.

So while the export side slowed down, the strong domestic market helped balance things out.

About Force Motors

Force Motors Limited is one of the older vehicle makers in India. It is known for making tough, reliable commercial vehicles. You’ll often spot a Force Traveller on highways, or Maxi cab vans carrying school kids or tourists.

Their range includes Small Commercial Vehicles (SCV), Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), Utility Vehicles (UV) and SUVs. Many of these are built for rough roads and heavy daily use.

They’ve built a solid name in India, especially for multi-passenger vans and maxi cab transport. These are widely used by private operators and public agencies alike.

Final Thoughts

August 2025 was a mixed month for Force Motors. Domestic demand was solid, but exports pulled down the overall pace. Still, with a 4.52% total growth, the company can count the month as a step forward.

The road ahead may include more focus on export recovery, but for now, Indian customers continue to trust Force Motors, especially its vans, maxi cabs and Travellers.
