Ashok Leyland Joins Hands with Chennai Super Kings

Ashok Leyland becomes CSK’s official sponsor, with logo on the jersey and a fan bus. The deal strengthens cricket-fan connections and brand visibility in Chennai.


India’s second-largest vehicle company, Ashok Leyland, is joining CSK as an official team sponsor. This is the first direct sponsorship for the team. From this season, Ashok Leyland logo will appear on the front right chest of CSK’s yellow jersey.

The announcement happened on March 6 at Ashok Leyland’s Chennai office. Dheeraj Hinduja, Chairman and Shenu Agarwal, CEO of Ashok Leyland, were there. CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ayush Mhatre, India’s Under-19 World Cup-winning captain, joined the event too.

CSK also showed their new jersey for the season. Along with this, Ashok Leyland launched a CSK fan bus. This bus is for the fans, called “Whistle Podu”. It connects the company’s passenger and goods transport business with cricket and fans.
