These are not simple buses. These electric buses are midi AC vehicles made for BRT system. Many smart features are added inside to make travel easy.
There is GPS system for live tracking. Passenger Information System is there to show stops and route. CCTV cameras are also installed for safety.
There is also a system which calculates run kilometres, helping in operator payments.
More Systems Means More Risk
When many digital systems are connected, risk also increases. If something goes wrong or any cyber issue happens, it can affect service and passengers.
Because of this reason, AMTC decided to check everything before putting buses on road.
Full Testing Was Done Before Launch
The testing was done by GlobalLogic and IRCLASS Systems. They checked software, camera systems, tracking devices and backend systems also.
They even checked how data is stored and how different systems connect with each other.
Special testing method was used to find hidden problems. This was done based on global and Indian safety standards.
Experts Say It Is Important
Experts said that today buses are becoming connected machines. So cybersecurity is very important now.
If problems are found early, they can be fixed before buses start daily service. This helps in avoiding bigger issues later.
India Moving Towards Smart Transport
India is slowly moving towards electric buses and smart transport systems. Many cities are adding new technology.
But with more technology, risks also increase. So proper checking is needed.
Ahmedabad has taken a good step by doing this. In future, other cities may also follow same process.
Safe and Smart Travel Ahead
In the end, this is not just about electric buses. It is about making transport safe, smart and reliable.
People will get clean travel with better safety, which is very important in today’s time.
