Ahmedabad launched new electric buses after cybersecurity checks, making public transport safer, smarter and more reliable with advanced digital systems.

Ahmedabad has started a new fleet of electric buses, but this time the focus is not only on clean transport. Before launch, these buses were properly checked for cybersecurity also. This step was taken by Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Corporation (AMTC).

These are not simple buses. These electric buses are midi AC vehicles made for BRT system. Many smart features are added inside to make travel easy.

There is GPS system for live tracking. Passenger Information System is there to show stops and route. CCTV cameras are also installed for safety.

There is also a system which calculates run kilometres, helping in operator payments.
