Ashok Leyland launches Guru 1010, Boss 1616 & 1916 to bolster ICV & MCV trucking

Ashok Leyland, one of the top commercial vehicles manufacturers in India, announced introduction of 3 new trucks to strengthen its presence in Intermediate Commercial Vehicles (ICV trucks) & Medium Duty Trucks. The flagship company of Hinduja Group has introduced new variants in the popular Guru and Boss series of trucks that come with built up cabin options. The all new Ashok Leyland Guru 1010 will cater to ICV trucking with best in class payload and fuel efficiency. Whereas Boss 1616 and Boss 1916 will cater to the medium duty trucking at 16.2 Ton GVW and a higher 18.5 Ton GVW node as per increased axle loading norms. All these new Ashok Leyland trucks offer a standard warranty of 4 years / 4 Lakh kms.

Ashok Leyland Boss truck platform, already a popular brand name in the market since its launch, has been introduced with higher 16.2 Ton & 18.5 Ton GVW along with sleeper cabin. Both Ashok Leyland Boss 1616 and Boss 1916, gets powered by a 6 cylinder H-Series engine with i-EGR technology to deliver best in class mileage, without requiring additional ad-blue. Again offered in 4 loading spans, the aesthetically designed sleeper cabin offers superior features like power steering with tilt & telescopic adjustment, company fitted music system, mobile charging point and host of utility spaces.

Other New Truck Launches in India

One can notice a lot of product launches in ICV & MCV trucking segment in the past few weeks.
