These trucks run without a driver, no human at the wheel. They can see road signals, crossings, and lane markings by themselves. Once fully charged, each electric truck goes nearly 200 km easily, enough for daily work around the industrial zone. Mini trucks and pickups look small in front of this tech machine.
Loaded with Smart Tech and an AI System
Evocargo’s N1-type electric truck comes with a 5th-gen autopilot and multi-sensor AI system. It uses LiDARs, sonar and cameras to take live road data. This tech helps trucks to make real-time decisions — like when to stop or turn. A 4-layer safety setup keeps every pickup or bus near it safe.
Where It Was Launched
The fleet launched inside Al Jazeera Al Hamra Industrial Zone, Ras Al Khaimah. RAK Ceramics now uses these Evocargo N1 trucks to move goods from one unit to another. For heavy and light cargo, both mini trucks and electric trucks work smoothly inside the plant area.
Evocargo CEO on Zero-Emission Transport
Shahim Mustafa, CEO of Evocargo Autonomous Logistics UAE, said this launch proves that autonomous zero-emission transport is not just an idea now, it’s real. His company’s “Robots-as-a-Service” model gives clients the option to use self-driving truck service with no start cost, just a simple subscription. It makes the future of the truck and pickup world easier.
Focus on Green Future and Smart Logistics
RAK Ceramics said the project is both innovative and environmentally duty. Full-electric truck means less carbon emissions and clean air. It supports the UAE’s green factory dream. In the coming years, such driverless trucks, buses and pickups may reduce manpower need and balance nature at the same time.
