New Ring Road to bring smooth travel and better tourism flow in Kurukshetra.

Kurukshetra is moving toward a big change now. The number of pilgrims and tourists is growing heavy every year, and the small city roads cannot handle this rush. Tourist buses, Volvo buses, mini buses, electric buses and even Force Traveller vans get stuck for long time. So the government has decided to build a new Ring Road, and PM Modi has approved ₹250 crore for this full plan. This money will upgrade roads, tourist areas and make the whole city travel smooth.

Kurukshetra gets lakhs of pilgrims during festivals and special days. People come from Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan and even foreign countries. Many arrive in tourist buses and Volvo buses, while small groups use Force Traveller or mini buses.

Because of this big crowd, the city roads stay packed and movement becomes slow. The new Ring Road will take the traffic around the city, not inside the busy lanes. This will save time for drivers and also make travel easy for families, tourists and group visitors.

CM Says Money Will Improve Tourism and Basic Facilities

During the press meet of International Gita Mahotsav, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said the ₹250 crore amount will be used mainly for Kurukshetra’s infrastructure.

He said the city is getting famous globally, and the roads, parks, parking areas and travel routes must match the growing crowd. This new Ring Road will help buses and mini buses come directly to the tourist points without entering narrow market roads. Electric buses can also run smoothly because the new road will have better signs, lighting and safety arrangements.

Old Promise Getting Completed Slowly

CM Saini also reminded everyone that in 2014, PM Modi had said Kurukshetra will get a global identity. And now that promise is slowly turning real. Every year, more people from outside India come to see holy places here. Many foreign tourists travel in planned groups using Volvo buses or electric buses arranged by tour teams.

For these visitors, the experience becomes better only when roads are wide, clean and not confusing. The new Ring Road will make travel simple and peaceful.

Jyotisar Experience Centre Near Completion

One big project is the Experience Centre at Jyotisar. It is made to show Mahabharat stories in a modern style.

Officials say this centre is almost done and will open soon. This place will become a big attraction for school groups, pilgrims and tourists arriving in Force Traveller vans and mini buses. More tourist buses will come here once the new road makes the route faster.

24 Countries Invited for Gita Mahotsav This Year

This year, the Ministry of External Affairs is also supporting the Gita Mahotsav. Around 24 countries are invited already. When such a big event happens, the traffic becomes very heavy. The new Ring Road will help manage these visitors, as tourist buses and Volvo buses won’t need to crowd inside the city. Clean travel also gives a better impression to foreign guests.

Krishna Circuit Project Bringing More Beauty

Under the Krishna Circuit, many places near Kurukshetra are also getting upgrades. Pinjore Garden will be repaired and Tikkar Taal will be beautified with new pathways, lights and clean water area.

This will bring more tourists, which means more mini buses, electric buses and Force Traveller vans will come regularly. Better roads and smooth traffic will help local hotels, dhabas, shops and travel agencies earn more.
