Arya’s new role will help Hino Motors grow stronger and compete better worldwide. The plan is to join Hino and Mitsubishi Fuso, share ideas and make better trucks for customers. This also helps Daimler Truck expand globally.

Strong Leadership at DICV

During his time at DICV, Arya helped the company grow profitably. The customer base doubled and dealerships increased from 182 to over 385 across India. Under his leadership, BharatBenz Trucks became popular for reliability and performance and many transport operators trust them for their daily business.

Focus on Green Initiatives and New Tech

Arya also pushed DICV towards sustainability. The company became India’s first commercial vehicle maker to use 100% renewable energy and earned the IGBC Green Factory Building V2 certification. DICV also brought in new technologies like ECE R29-03 cabin safety, TorqShift AMT tippers and the HX Series trucks. These steps ensured smoother operations and easier compliance with BS VI norms.

Leaders’ Thoughts

Achim Puchert, Daimler Truck board member, said, “Satyakam is a proven leader with deep experience in trucks and commercial vehicle operations. He’s perfect to lead Hino Motors globally.” Arya commented, “It’s a big honor to lead Hino. I look forward to building on Hino’s 80-year history and helping customers worldwide.”

Looking Forward

DICV is planning for its next leadership in India. Arya’s move shows how important the Mitsubishi Fuso–Hino integration is. It will help share tech, improve trucks and encourage innovation globally. Arya has also worked with Daimler Truck Asia in Japan, giving him valuable experience to guide Hino Motors forward.

With Arya leading Hino Motors, Daimler and Toyota aim to make trucks that are more innovative, efficient and useful for businesses everywhere. This step signals a strong push towards better global commercial vehicle solutions.
