Mahindra launches the Udo electric 3-wheeler in Hyderabad at ₹3.58 lakh. The passenger auto offers 265 km certified range, automatic transmission and modern features for city mobility.


Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has launched the Mahindra Udo electric auto in Hyderabad on 12 February 2026. The unveiling took place around noon and marks the company’s fresh push in the city mobility space. The new 3-wheeler is aimed at everyday passenger use and comes at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 3,58,999.

The brand-new Mahindra Udo auto comes with a PMS motor. It gives a power output of 13.40 HP and a high-end torque of 52 Nm. The latest Mahindra Udo has an automatic power transmission. The maximum speed of this new Mahindra Udo is 55 kilometres per hour. This new Mahindra 3-wheeler consumes energy of 44 Wh per km. The newly launched electric 3-wheeler of Mahindra follows BS6 emission norms. This new auto is an eco-friendly vehicle option.

Driving Modes and Running Capacity

Mahindra said that a certified range of 265 kilometers on a single charge for this new Mahindra Udo. The real-world range is expected to be around 200 kilometres. The auto offers three driving modes which are Range, Ride and Race. These modes allow drivers to adjust performance based on traffic and battery condition. It gives a gradeability of 25.8% which helps to move smoothly on inclined paths.

Built for Driver Comfort

The Mahindra Udo comes in a fully built body option with a seating capacity of driver plus three passengers. It gets well-cushioned seats, a cabin lamp and a digital instrument cluster with analog dials. There is also a driver information display which shows key vehicle data.

For added convenience, the auto includes a 12V mobile charging socket, bottle holder and a music-compatible system. Features like reverse throttle, creep function and hill hold assist are provided to make daily operation smoother in crowded city areas. Steering is handlebar type and the rear gets independent suspension while the front has dual shockers for better ride comfort.

Safety, Telematics and Support

The brand-new Mahindra Udo 3-wheeler is controlled by front disc and rear drum brakes. The vehicle rides on tube tyres. Mahindra has equipped the auto with its NEMO telematics system, which allows tracking and basic fleet monitoring features.

Under the Uday NXT programme, customers also get accidental insurance cover of ₹20 lakh. The company is offering a warranty of 6 years or 1.5 lakh km. In addition to that, free service is available up to 1 lakh km which may reduce maintenance worries for operators.

With practical range, useful features and long warranty support, Mahindra Udo enters the market as a strong electric passenger auto option for urban drivers. The company is expected to begin deliveries soon across selected cities after the Hyderabad launch.
