India’s three-wheeler sales reached 1.17 lakh units in February 2026, growing 24%. Passenger autos and electric three-wheelers saw strong demand in urban and semi-urban markets.
India’s three-wheeler market did very good in February 2026. Total sales were 1,17,130 units, compared to 94,162 units in February last year. That is about 24.40% growth.

- Mahindra & Mahindra Group sold 8,637 units, growth 32.79%.
- Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd sold 123 units, huge growth 547.37%.
- TVS Motor sold 5,201 units, more than double from last year.
- Atul Auto sold 3,140 units, up 34.93%.
- Hugli Motors sold 1,265 units, highest growth 283.33%.
- ZeniaK Innovation sold 1,420 units, almost double.
Some brands like YC Electric, Mayuri Electric, Citilife Electric had less sales. Competition in electric 3 wheelers is increasing.
Small Manufacturers Are Growing
The Others category sold 38,983 units, up 16.62%. These are new or small manufacturers with <1% market share. They are entering market and making it more competitive.

Sales are rising because:
- Finance options are better for buyers
- Delivery and urban transport demand is high
- Electric 3 wheelers and passenger autos are popular
- Old vehicles are replaced
It looks clear that three-wheeler market is back on growth path.
