Eicher Trucks and Buses has completed a very long road journey with its Pro X electric commercial vehicle. Eicher completed this long India journey with the Pro X EV under loaded driving conditions from start till end.

The company said this run was done under fully loaded conditions to show how electric commercial vehicles can work in real transport situations.

Eicher claims this became one of the fastest long-distance runs completed by an electric commercial vehicle on this route. The company also received entries in the India Book of Records related to the journey.

Many people in the transport industry still have doubts about long-distance EV performance. Because of this, the company wanted to show practical use instead of only talking about specifications.

Charging Done Through Public Network

During the full journey, the vehicle depended on public charging stations available across different states. Charging support was accessed using the MyEicher App.

The company said the route tested the vehicle in many driving conditions including steep roads, highways and traffic areas. Eicher trucks teams monitored the performance during the complete run.

Electric commercial vehicles are slowly becoming part of logistics and delivery operations in India, but long-distance usage is still growing step by step.

Content Creator Also Joined the Campaign

The campaign was named “#XpertHaiTohPossibleHai”. Content creator Raman Nayak from Behind The Wheels also joined the trip and documented the full journey through videos and social media content.

Regional creators from different states were also involved during the road trip. Local-language content was shared online while the vehicle moved through multiple cities and routes.

Company Wants More Trust in EV Mobility

Company officials said the main purpose behind this campaign was to increase confidence in electric mobility by showing real-world driving performance.

According to Eicher, the idea was not just promotion but proving that EV cargo vehicles can also handle difficult transport routes under working conditions.

EV Demand Slowly Growing in Transport Sector

The commercial EV market in India is growing slowly as logistics companies search for lower operating cost solutions. Demand for Eicher mini trucks and electric cargo vehicles may increase more in coming years if charging support improves further.

Fleet operators connected with deliveries, pickups and cargo transport are now watching how EV technology performs on long routes.

The company also said the campaign matches larger discussions happening around cleaner transport systems and future logistics development in India.
