BharatBenz opened three new service centres in Bundelkhand to improve after-sales support for commercial vehicles and trucks operating on mining and transport routes.

BharatBenz has started three new service centres in the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh. These workshops are opened in Jhansi, Kabrai and Bharatkoop. The work of running these facilities has been given to PPS Trucking.

The company says these centres are opened mainly for better support of commercial vehicles and trucks moving in mining and transport routes nearby.

Many heavy vehicles move daily in Bundelkhand because mining and road construction work is active there. Due to this, companies need faster repair and maintenance support.

BharatBenz felt there should be more service points in these areas so drivers and fleet owners do not have to travel far for vehicle repair work.

Large Workshop Space Added

Together these three centres have more than 1.1 lakh square feet service area. Total 18 service bays are available in all locations combined. The company says almost 7,500 vehicles can be serviced every year through these workshops.

The Jhansi centre is near the Kanpur-Jhansi highway. It has eight bays and covers around 40,000 square feet area.

Kabrai Centre to Support Mining Trucks

The Kabrai workshop is bigger and spread across nearly 60,000 square feet. This facility has seven service bays.

A large number of trucks working in Kabrai mining routes are expected to use this centre. Many BharatBenz trucks connected with stone transport may come here regularly for maintenance work.

Chitrakoot Workshop Also Added

The third facility is located at Bharatkoop in Chitrakoot. This workshop has three service bays and covers around 11,000 square feet.

Vehicles travelling between Madhya Pradesh and Prayagraj side routes can use this centre for servicing and repair support.

Modern Equipment Installed

The company said all workshops have modern diagnostic systems and genuine spare parts. Service equipment needed for commercial vehicle repair has also been installed there.

Five mobile vans are also added for roadside assistance work. If any vehicle breaks down during travel, these vans can provide support.

Technicians and Driver Facilities

Around 64 trained technicians are working at these centres. Driver restrooms and some basic facilities are also available for people coming with vehicles.

For long-distance truck drivers, small facilities like rest areas also become important during travel.

Company Wants Faster Support

Rajiv Chaturvedi from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles said transport companies lose money when vehicles remain stopped for long time. Because of this, the company wants service support closer to transport routes.

PPS Trucking also said the partnership will help improve customer support in Bundelkhand region.

Service Demand Rising

Transport activity is increasing slowly in many parts of Uttar Pradesh. Because of this, the need for service centres is also growing.

Fleet owners now expect quicker repair work, proper spare parts and less waiting time. With these new workshops, BharatBenz is trying to improve support for trucks operating in important mining and industrial routes.
