Ashok Leyland and Switch Mobility are the first OEMs to join the Government of India’s vehicle replacement scheme. The programme will support the replacement of over 2 lakh old commercial vehicles in Delhi-NCR through discounts, subsidies and incentives for cleaner mobility.
Tata Motors will raise commercial vehicle prices by up to 2.5% and passenger vehicle prices by up to 1.5% from July 1, 2026. The company cited rising input and commodity costs as the reason for the increase, which will vary by model and variant.
