Tata Motors introduces its range of refrigerated trucks for transportation of COVID-19 vaccine

Tata Motors, India’s largest and highly trusted commercial vehicle manufacturer, has introduced its fleet of refrigerated trucks to accelerate the delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine across all segments. The entire range of refrigerated trucks from Tata Motors spanning from SCVs’ to M&HCVs’ are now within easy reach on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal. The small-commercial vehicles (SCVs’) would ensure last-mile connectivity within cities and remote areas, while the medium and heavy segment (M&HCVs’) will add to the safety and momentum aspect of the delivery.  Overall, through this initiative Tata Motors aims to manage the end-to-end transportation of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Tata Motors refrigerated Tata trucks/vans have been engineered as per the requisite temperature, volume and weight requirements, and are available in a multitude of tonnage points and capacities to cater to the marketplace requirements. The 20 and 32 cuM. Tata Motors refrigerated vehicles fall in the ICV and MCV segments, while the insulated-vaccine vans come under the SCV and Pick-up truck segment.

Tata Motors has collaborated with India’s leading and major reefers (those who are in the business of refrigerated load bodies), thereby furthering the noble cause of delivering the COVID-19 vaccine to the maximum.
