Propel Industries Introduces Electric Tipper Trucks at EXCON 2025

Propel Industries launched four electric tipper trucks at EXCON 2025, focusing on strong performance, safety and growing use of electric trucks in India.
Propel Industries Private Limited has launched four new electric tipper trucks at the EXCON 2025 event. The launch was done along with the introduction of a new connectivity solution and an after-sales service program. The event was attended by Dr. Soumya Ranjan Samal, Founder and CMD of Kalinga Commercial Corporation Limited and Mr. J. Rudrasekar, Director of RAJIRAJ MINERALS PRIVATE LIMITED.
This launch shows Propel’s strong focus on electric trucks and clean mobility solutions for India’s heavy-duty transport segment, where trucks play a very important role similar to brands like Tata Trucks.

During the event, Propel Industries revealed four electric tipper models named 90CED, 70CED, 560HEV-X and 470MEV Gen-2. Along with these trucks, the company also introduced Pulse.ev, a smart connectivity solution and Pro EV Care, which is specially designed for e-commerce and fleet operators.
V. Senthilkumar, Managing Director of Propel Industries, said that these machines are made for hard work. He shared that the trucks can easily work at mining and construction sites where conditions are not easy. According to him, these new launches will slowly support the growth of heavy electric trucks in India.
Advanced Features and Safety Focus
The 90CED is a fast-charge 90-ton electric dumper with a striking capacity of 34 CBM. It offers battery options between 310kW to 650kW. Safety has been taken seriously with features like ADAS Level 1, electronic braking, driver fatigue monitoring and compliance with DGMS standards.
The 70CED comes with an 8X4 design and a 25 CBM rock body capacity. The 560HEV-X also has an 8X4 layout with 25 CBM box body capacity. Meanwhile, the 470MEV Gen-2 has a 6X4 design, 20 CBM rock body and offers three battery pack options.
All electric trucks come with lithium-ion batteries and a battery warranty of five years or 5,000 cycles. Features like integrated battery firewall and automatic fire detection and suppression system are also provided.
Technology, Service and Company Growth
Siddarth Kirtane, President – Sales, Marketing and Service (EV), highlighted Propel’s focus on innovation, productivity and eco-friendly operations. Since entering the electric truck segment in 2023, Propel trucks have been used in coal, limestone, iron ore, stone quarry, marble, granite and solid waste management sectors. These electric trucks have already completed more than 500,000 operating hours.
The Pulse.ev system helps in vehicle health monitoring, energy analysis, predictive maintenance and fleet optimization. Pro EV Care offers five service levels with uptime assurance and predictable costs.
Founded in 2009, Propel Industries manufactures crushing, screening and washing machinery. The company supports over 50 countries, has more than 3,000 installations and offers 135 machinery models. Its move into electric trucks marks a strong step towards zero-emission heavy-duty transport.
