Escorts Kubota saw small tractor growth in March 2026 while construction equipment sales increased strongly, showing mixed but overall positive performance for the company.
Escorts Kubota shared its March 2026 numbers and overall it looks decent. The company sold 12,119 tractors this time, last year same month it was 11,374. So yes growth is there, not very big but still fine.
Domestic sales played big role here. Around 11,582 tractors were sold in India, which is better than last year. Company said rural demand is still good and farming activities are going on in many areas. Rabi harvesting has also started in some regions, which helped in sales.
Earlier in February also, company saw strong growth. So overall, this small increase in March still continues that trend.

While domestic sales were good, export numbers did not perform same way. Tractor exports in March came down to 537 units from 599 units last year. This shows some pressure in global market.
For full year, company sales reached more than 1.33 lakh tractors, which is clearly higher than previous year. This shows overall growth is strong, even if some months are slow.
Escorts Kubota said earlier growth was supported by farm activity, government support and good rural mood.
But company also said future may have some challenges, like fertilizer supply issues which can affect next crop season.
Strong Jump in Construction Equipment Sales
On the other side, Escorts Kubota Construction Equipments business showed strong performance in March. The company sold 765 machines, which is much higher than 614 machines last year. This is a big jump and shows demand is improving in this segment.
This growth is mainly because many infrastructure projects are running and more orders are coming. Even in February, sales were slightly better than last year. So it looks like this segment is slowly recovering.
Overall Business and Future Outlook
For full year, construction equipment sales were still lower than last year, even after good performance in last few months. But final quarter showed some recovery, which is positive sign.
Escorts Kubota has long history in manufacturing and works in both agriculture and construction sectors. The company believes that demand can stay stable if farming conditions remain good and infrastructure work continues.
In the end, company performance in March looks balanced. Tractor sales are growing slowly and Escorts Kubota Construction Equipments segment is showing better improvement. But global situation and supply issues can still affect business in coming time.
