The new facility is located in Bhauti, Chakarpur, and was inaugurated by Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder and Chairman of EKA Mobility, along with Group President Arihant Mehta and Business Head Rohit Shrivastava. Representatives from Stellar Mobility, Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Jakhodia, were also present at the launch.

What the Kanpur Dealership Offers

This isn't a limited showroom — it's a full-range setup showcasing EKA's entire 'Born Electric' lineup. That includes electric three-wheelers like the EKA 6S, EKA 3S and EKA 3W Cargo, along with small commercial vehicles spanning the 1.5-tonne to 3.5-tonne category. One model in that segment, the Eka 2.5T, gives a good sense of what this range looks like in practice.

On the bigger end, customers can also check out EKA's electric buses — the 7M, 9M, 12M, Coach and Low Floor variants — plus the EKA 55T, the company's heavy-duty electric truck built for serious payload work.

A Full 3S Sales and Service Setup

What makes this dealership stand out is that it's a complete 3S facility — Sales, Service and Spares — all under one roof. That means buyers don't just get to purchase a vehicle here; they can also get it serviced and pick up spare parts without hunting for a separate workshop.

EKA is also backing fleet operators with its AI-powered EKA Connect platform, which helps track vehicle performance and improve uptime — something that matters a lot more once a fleet grows beyond a handful of electric trucks.

EKA's Bigger Expansion Plan

Dr. Sudhir Mehta said the Kanpur launch is just the start of a much larger push, with EKA targeting more than 200 dealerships across over 20 states by FY27. Ashmit Bhatia, CEO of Stellar Mobility, echoed a similar sentiment, saying the goal is to make the shift to electric mobility as smooth as possible for both individual operators and larger fleet owners.

Given how quickly demand for electric buses and commercial EVs is picking up across Indian cities, this kind of aggressive dealership rollout isn't surprising — it's becoming table stakes for anyone serious about the segment.

Manufacturing Behind the Growth

Behind all this retail expansion is a growing manufacturing base. EKA currently runs a bus plant at Koregaon Bhima and a truck and SCV facility at Chakan, Pune, with a new 47-acre plant coming up in Pithampur. Combined, these facilities are expected to support an annual output of 10,000 buses, 24,000 SCVs and 4,000 trucks.

For anyone in Kanpur or nearby looking to explore the range in person, reaching out to the local dealer network is now a lot easier than it was a few weeks ago.
