Eicher Trucks & Buses shows new trucks for cement transport at the 15th Cement Expo

Eicher Trucks showcased new CNG and LNG models at the 15th Cement Expo, focusing on cleaner, efficient cement transport with better payload and service support.

Eicher Trucks & Buses, part of VECV, went to the 15th Cement Expo at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. The expo is big for cement companies. Many people come to see new trucks and transport ideas. Eicher was the only truck company there. Lots of visitors came to look at their trucks.

Eicher showed a few new trucks that are made for cleaner and better cement transport. The main trucks were Eicher Pro 2119 CNG and Eicher Pro 6028TM. The 6028TM has a 10 cubic meter drum and a 6x4 setup. It is good for carrying heavy cement loads. They also launched the Pro 6055 LNG, a 55T tractor-trailer. This LNG truck was presented by Mr. Sagar R. Kadu from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. His presence showed that the government is also supporting new fuel options like CNG and LNG.

There were also interactive display zones. The My Eicher section showed details of their wide service network, while the Uptime Centre explained the support tools that help transport operators keep their trucks running with less downtime.

Speaking at the event, S.S. Gill, Chief Commercial Officer at VECV, said that the expo gave them a good chance to meet people from the cement sector and talk about Eicher’s alternative fuel trucks and their service support. Gagandeep Singh Gandhok, EVP – Sales & Marketing for Heavy-Duty Trucks, added that Eicher has been working with the cement industry for many years and continues to design trucks that match the changing needs of logistics.

During the expo, Eicher connected with more than 5,000 stakeholders, including CEOs, MDs, procurement heads and logistics partners from major cement companies. The trucks displayed at the event are designed to offer better payload, improved efficiency and strong service support. According to the company, Eicher trucks provide 5–7% better fuel efficiency and have over 1,100 service touchpoints, which helps reduce the total cost of operations and improve turnaround time.

With its new CNG and LNG truck range, Eicher Trucks & Buses again showed that it aims to be a leader in building cleaner and smarter solutions for the cement logistics sector.
