VE Connected Solutions, earlier known as Aquila Mobility Solutions, started operations in 2024 as a joint venture between VECV and iTriangle. In a short time, the company has already increased its business activity strongly.

Reports linked with company numbers showed turnover crossed INR 900 million during FY2025-26. Last year, the business had reported much smaller revenue figures. Many people connected with the commercial vehicle sector believe connected technology services are now becoming important for transport businesses.

Companies working with Eicher trucks and fleet operations are also paying more attention toward vehicle tracking, safety monitoring and fuel management systems because transport costs are rising continuously.

Connected Vehicle Technology Becoming Important

VECS mainly works in telematics, driver monitoring systems, electric mobility support and automotive compliance services. The company is also involved in cargo tracking and fuel security systems for commercial transport operations.

Today, many transport operators want better control over daily fleet movement and vehicle efficiency. Because of this, connected vehicle technology is slowly becoming common in trucks, logistics fleets and cargo transport businesses.

Businesses operating Eicher mini trucks and delivery vehicles are also showing interest in systems that can track routes, fuel use and vehicle performance in real time. Fleet owners feel these technologies may help reduce unnecessary operational expenses later.

Demand Rising in Commercial Transport Sector

India’s logistics and cargo sector has been changing rapidly over the last few years. Delivery operations connected with pickups, cargo vans and transport fleets are increasing continuously because online business and freight movement are growing in many cities.

Industry people say transport companies now want vehicles that offer both operational efficiency and digital support systems together. Because of this, commercial vehicle makers are investing more money into smart mobility platforms and connected technologies. Experts connected with the market also believe future commercial vehicles may depend more on software support, live tracking and remote vehicle management systems.

Transaction Expected Before July 2026

According to company filings, VECV plans to complete the full transaction before July 31, 2026. The company also mentioned that no special government approval is required for this acquisition process.

The deal includes the purchase of around 115,000 shares of VECS by VECV. Company officials believe stronger control in the connected solutions business may help improve future mobility services connected with Eicher trucks and commercial transport operations.

As commercial vehicle technology keeps changing, many companies are now focusing not only on vehicle manufacturing but also on digital systems that improve fleet management and transport efficiency.
