ThunderPlus has signed a big MoU with Tata Motors. With this agreement, about 5,000 new public EV charging stations will be designed across India. These new EV stations are going to be developed in the main cities of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, West Bengal, Bihar, and Maharashtra. Tata Motors and ThunderPlus say this tie-up will push the use of electric trucks, mini trucks, pickups and 3-wheelers in transport and delivery work.

ThunderPlus CEO Talks About Vision

Rajeev YSR, CEO of ThunderPlus, said, “We are proud to partner with Tata Motors for this project. Together, we are building a strong and easy-to-access charging network for small and big electric commercial vehicles. This will make a clean mobility future real and practical for India.”

Charging Revolution for Commercial Fleets

ThunderPlus said most charging points will be set near logistics parks, city hubs, and highways where truck, pickup, and electric mini truck drivers can charge easily. This setup will save time and boost profit for fleet owners. Fast-charging feature and smart digital system will help drivers monitor charging status quickly and continue work without delay.

Boost for Electric Truck Movement

With this project, many e-trucks and e-pickups will gain more confidence for long-distance trips. It will reduce downtime and make electric truck use easier for transporters. The move supports India’s mission to cut fuel imports and pollution. Tata Motors is already leading in the electric bus and small truck category, and this tie-up will make their EV lineup more strong.

Supporting India’s Net Zero Goal

The new 5,000 charging stations plan matches India’s target of cleaner transport and less carbon emissions. Electric mobility is growing fast in India, and this project will make it go faster. ThunderPlus and Tata Motors are together pushing the dream of 100% green logistics.
