Michelin Expands North India Retail Network With Two New Tyres & Services Stores
Michelin India has opened two new Michelin Tyres & Services stores in Amritsar and Panchkula to strengthen its retail presence in North India.

Michelin India has expand its retail network in North India with opening of two new Michelin Tyres & Services (MTS) store in Amritsar and Panchkula. Outlet have been establish in partnership with National Auto and Universal Tyres respectively, as part of company's strategy to strengthen presence in region, which also see good movement of trucks, mini trucks and buses on daily basis.

Located on Loharka Road in Amritsar and in Industrial Area of Panchkula, each outlet span 5,000 sq. ft. and offer Michelin's range of passenger car and two-wheeler tyre, including Primacy, Pilot Sport, Latitude Sport and LTX Trail series. Facility also provide service such as wheel alignment, wheel balancing, mechanical repair and maintenance, useful for owner running mini trucks and other vehicle in area too.
Rising Demand Push Expansion in Region
Company said expansion come as North India continue witness rising vehicle ownership, infrastructure development and increasing demand for premium mobility product and this include growth in commercial segment like trucks and buses as well. Michelin also state it preparing to introduce passenger car tyre manufacture in India soon.
Shantanu Deshpande, Managing Director, Michelin India, said North India continue to be key market in Michelin's growth journey, supported by rising vehicle ownership, improving road infrastructure and growing demand for premium mobility solution. He add as they prepare to introduce Made-in-India passenger car tyre, they remain focus on delivering solution tailor to evolving need of Indian consumer.
Local Partnerships Support Retail Growth
Michelin said it partner with National Auto, Amritsar based automotive business establish in 1927 and Universal Tyres, which have over three decade of experience in tyre business, to support its retail expansion in two cities. Company add these collaboration are aim to expand access to its product and after-sales service through established local partner, helping customer with trucks, mini trucks and buses find right tyre and service option nearby too.
