Gainwell Trucking Adds 8 Service Centres After Selling 320 Heavy Duty Trucks

The Noida based distributor expands to eight new locations and prepares to hire 100 employees as demand rises from coal and infrastructure sectors.

Gainwell Trucking Private Limited has sold 320 heavy-duty mining trucks in the last six months while expanding its service footprint across key industrial regions of India. The company shared the update on Tuesday and said the focus remains on strengthening after-sales support along with sales growth.

The Noida based distributor has been working as the authorised channel partner for BharatBenz mining trucks under Daimler India Commercial Vehicles since April 2025. Over this period the company has built more than 35,000 square feet of service infrastructure. Its active fleet on the ground now stands at over 2,000 units which are deployed across mining and infrastructure projects.

Gainwell Trucking has opened eight new service locations in Noida, Ahmedabad, Singrauli, Durgapur, Dhanbad, Jharsuguda, Anuppur and Talcher. These centres are placed close to active mining zones so that customers can get faster support when required.

Two more facilities in Hazaribagh and Barbil are expected to open in the coming months. A larger flagship service centre in Asansol is also scheduled to become operational within this quarter. The company believes that proximity to project sites is critical because downtime in mining operations directly affects output.

Demand Driven by Coal and Infrastructure Projects

According to the company demand has mainly come from coal mining operations and ongoing infrastructure projects. Orders have been reported from West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and several northern states. Mining contractors are looking for reliable heavy-duty trucks that can operate in tough terrain with minimum breakdowns.

With an active fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles, the company is now focusing equally on service efficiency and uptime management.

100 New Hires Planned in 2026

Gainwell Trucking plans to recruit 100 additional employees in 2026. At present the company has around 150 professionals. The new workforce will be deployed across sales, service and technical support functions at the newly opened locations.

Deepak Jolly, CEO and Whole Time Director of Gainwell Trucking, said that the expansion of both network and manpower shows the company’s long-term commitment to customers. He added that a strong on-ground presence and faster service response are key priorities.

Surabhi Chaturvedi, Director of Operations, said the company is putting focus on predictive maintenance and better fleet planning so that mini trucks spend less time off the road. The idea is simple which is to cut downtime and help mining and infrastructure clients work more smoothly.

Gainwell Trucking is part of the Gainwell Group which has been involved in India’s mining sector for almost 80 years. The company continues to focus on distribution and after-sales support for mining transportation equipment while gradually strengthening its national footprint.
