At Excon 2025, Escorts Kubota Limited showed its new range of BS V-compliant Construction Equipments, made specially for Indian work conditions. The U22-3 mini excavator was one of the machines shown at Excon 2025 and is now ready for market use. It is a 2.2-ton model placed between the 1.7-ton and 3-ton range. It comes with zero-tail swing design, which helps a lot in narrow urban spaces and basement work. ROPS and FOPS safety protection is also provided. The hydraulic system feels improved and suitable for daily construction jobs in tight areas.
For mining applications, Escorts Kubota displayed the Hydra 15 Mining prototype. This machine is designed for tough quarry conditions. Another machine on display was the BLX75K Backhoe Loader, shown as a prototype for some regional markets. It uses a 74.3 hp Kubota CEV-V engine. The company also presented the Hydra 72 pick-and-carry crane at concept stage. This crane comes with a 72-foot boom, an upgrade from the earlier 65-foot version. It has a four-part rope-compensated boom, heavy-duty hydraulic winch with safety brakes and reinforced axle and transmission. It is designed for continuous lifting work in industrial areas.
