Now, Tata Ace Gold Diesel Plus does not require the 30 to 45-minute DPF regeneration interval time which customers were facing in the first era of BS6 Ace Gold Diesel. A forced regeneration occurs when soot builds up inside the diesel particulate filter (DPF) to the point that the vehicle is no longer operable. When this happens, a driver has to pull over and initiate a self-cleaning process that can take up to 45 minutes. The DPF regeneration takes place automatically in Tata Ace Gold Diesel Plus, which results in better uptime with low maintenance.
