Commuters, i.e., truck drivers, just download the latest Rajmargyatra app, click a clear geo-tagged photo of a dirty toilet at an NHAI toll plaza, and submit their name, mobile number, and Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) on the app. This makes reporting simple for drivers of trucks, pickups, mini trucks, and buses.

Reward Details

Each VRN reporting a dirty toilet gets ₹1,000 credited in the FASTag account. Reward is limited to one per vehicle for the entire scheme. Daily reward is issued once per toilet only — if many report the same toilet, the first valid submission gets the reward.

Terms and Rules

Scheme only for toilets built or maintained by NHAI. Dhabas, fuel stations, or public toilets are not included. Photos must be original, taken on the Rajmargyatra app. Fake, duplicate, or old photos will be rejected.

How Verification Works

Reports are checked by an AI-assisted system, then manually if needed. This two-layer check ensures fair reward and proper scheme operation. Drivers of mini trucks, pickups, electric trucks, and buses can easily participate and get a reward safely.

Highway Cleanliness Outlook

NHAI aims to keep safe and clean highways for everyone. With this technology, incentives, and citizen participation, this drive is expected to make toilets clean. It will also help to raise awareness and improve hygiene on national highways.
