Montra Electric launched new EVIATOR variants with different battery options, helping users choose based on city or long-distance needs while improving efficiency and flexibility.

Montra Electric has launched two new variants in its EVIATOR electric vehicle range. These are EVIATOR 350 (32kWh) and EVIATOR 350L+ (50kWh). Launch happened on 24 April 2026.

The smaller 32kWh variant is mainly for city use. It gives around 140 km range in real conditions. This makes it useful for short trips and daily delivery work.

On the other side, 50kWh variant is made for longer routes. It can go above 200 km in real usage and over 300 km certified range. This is better for intercity work.

Because of this, vehicles like electric mini trucks and Montra pickups can now be used for both short and long operations.

Company Using Real Data for Planning

Company said that these new models are based on real data. Around 600 vehicles have already run more than 65 lakh km.

From this data, they understood that not all users need same battery. Some use vehicles for small daily trips, while others need long distance performance.

So instead of one design for all, company is now giving options based on usage.

Focus on Business and Cost Efficiency

Main aim is to improve uptime and reduce cost for users. Company claims high uptime, around 99%, which is important for business.

With more options, users can choose what fits their work. This can help in better profit and less downtime.

Vehicles like pickups used in logistics will benefit from this, especially when work type is different in each area.

Market Competition and Future Plans

With these new variants, company says it now offers more flexibility compared to others in market.

They are also helping customers understand which variant is better for them by giving comparison data.

Earlier model of EVIATOR already got good response, so this new launch is like next step in same direction.

Growing Demand for Electric Vehicles

Electric commercial vehicle market in India is growing slowly. Rising fuel cost and government support is pushing this growth.

Small vehicles like electric mini trucks and pickups are becoming popular because they are used for daily transport.

Overall, this launch shows that companies are now focusing more on practical use, not just product. It may help in faster adoption of EVs in coming time.
