PM E-DRIVE Scheme Supports Truck Buyers

The PM E-DRIVE scheme helps buyers by reducing the cost of electric trucks. Under this scheme, around Rs 500 crore has been kept for electric trucks. Customers buying the Rhino 5538 EV can get up to Rs 9.6 lakh as incentive.

This makes electric trucks more affordable and also lowers daily running costs. It also protects companies from fuel price changes, which is a big issue for truck operators.

What Makes Montra Rhino 5538 EV Useful

The Montra Electric Rhino 5538 EV is available in 6x4 and 4x2 versions. It comes with a 282 kWh LFP battery and produces 380 hp with 2000 Nm torque. The truck has battery swapping support and gives a range close to 198 km.

Because of this setup, the truck can be used in cement plants, ports, mining areas and long freight routes. With this launch, Montra Electric has clearly started its journey in India’s electric trucks market.
