At the International Electric Convention & Green Mobility 2025 in New Delhi, EKA Mobility introduced its most extensive electric vehicle lineup to date. Covering the truck, bus, and three-wheeler categories, the company launched four new EVs, making it the largest portfolio ever displayed by an Indian OEM.

Four Electric Vehicles for Every Need

Staying true to its philosophy of “profitability with sustainability,” EKA unveiled four unique commercial vehicles:

• EKA 55T Electric Truck – This is a brand-new EV truck in the heavy truck segment and can carry about 43,000 kg. It gives superior mileage and can run around 200 km on a single charge.
• EKA 12M Electric Bus – This EV bus is built specially for urban transportation. This is famous for its superior mileage as it covers more than 250 km on a single charge and has advanced ADAS driver-assist technology.
• EKA 3W Cargo Three-Wheeler – A compact cargo solution with a 750 kg payload and a 200 km driving range, ideal for delivery businesses.
• EKA 6S Passenger Three-Wheeler – India’s first 7-seater electric auto equipped with a steering wheel for easier handling.

Over 3,300 Confirmed Orders from India and South Africa

The launch was accompanied by a major commercial announcement: EKA Mobility has secured more than 3,300 confirmed orders from India and South Africa. This includes a bulk order of 2,000 electric buses under the Indian government’s PM e-Bus Sewa Yojana.

Designed and Built in India for ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’

All the newly launched vehicles are designed and manufactured in India, under the Make in India initiative. The company’s R&D team has over 500 engineers, with a significant portion being women. Speaking about the launch, Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder and Chairman of EKA Mobility, said, “Our goal is to make clean transport both sustainable and profitable, and this portfolio is a step toward that vision.”
