Student safety has been given priority in the new electric school bus. The vehicle features a high-strength steel structure and complies with AIS 052 safety regulations for buses in India.
The vehicle is made with steel and it follows the safety rules for EKA buses in India, which is AIS 052. The bus has a braking system called Electronic Braking System and it also has Electronic Stability Control. It has air suspension too which makes the bus ride safer and more comfortable every day.
These things help the vehicle stability, the way it brakes and how comfortable the ride's especially when the roads are not even. Available With Two Battery Pack Options
EKA Mobility is offering the electric school bus with two Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery choices – 100 kWh and 200 kWh. Schools and fleet operators can select the battery configuration based on their daily travel requirements.
According to the company, the larger battery pack can deliver a driving range of up to 180 km on a single charge. The bus also supports CCS2 fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged in less than one hour and 45 minutes. This reduces charging time and helps keep the vehicle on the road for longer operating hours.
