TVS Motor Company Collaborates with OOR Cabs to Roll Out 500 Electric Three-Wheelers Across Tamil Nadu

On May 22, 2025, TVS Motor Company, a global manufacturer of two and three-wheelers, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OOR Cabs Pvt. Ltd.

This strategic partnership aims to promote sustainable urban mobility in Tamil Nadu by supplying 500 TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheelers during the 2025-26 financial year.

OOR’s new EV vehicles will be equipped with features such as on-board drinking water, roof thermal insulation, and mobile charging ports, ensuring every ride is comfortable and premium.

OOR Cabs plans to expand its EV fleet by adding 20–30 vehicles every month, empowering both men and women drivers and supporting sustainable livelihoods in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

As part of this initiative, OOR Cabs will deploy eco-friendly intra-city passenger services, beginning with Trichy, with plans to extend operations to Madurai and Coimbatore.
