Tata Motors Unveils New Electric Truck Range | Ultra EV to Prima EV
Tata Motors has launched new electric trucks, ranging from 7.5-ton GVW city EVs to 55-ton electric prime movers, offering zero-emission freight transport solutions for various applications.
The Tata Ultra E.7 electric truck has a 7500 kg GVW, is powered by a 96 kWh battery pack, and offers a driving range of up to 130 km, making it ideal for urban distribution and last-mile logistics.
The Tata Ultra E.9 electric truck has a 9000 kg GVW, a 100–150 kWh battery pack, and offers a real-world driving range of approximately 230 km for urban logistics.
The Tata Ultra E.12 EV has a GVW of 12000 kg, is powered by a 100–150 kWh battery, and is designed for city and intracity cargo haulage, with a driving range of up to 200 km.
The Tata Prima E.28K electric tipper has a GVW of 28000 kg, is powered by a 453 kWh battery, and offers a working range of approximately 220 km for mining and infra applications.
The Tata Prima E.55S EV is a heavy electric prime mover with 55000 kg GVW, up to 453 kWh battery capacity, and a driving range up to 350 km, targeting long-haul freight.
