Tata Motors Introduces Signa 2820.TK CNG at EXCON 2025

At EXCON 2025, Tata Motors unveiled Signa 2820.TK CNG, India’s first factory-fitted 28-tonne CNG tipper, marking a major push toward cleaner fuel options in heavy commercial vehicles.

The Signa 2820.TK CNG is powered by a CNG engine producing 200 hp of power and 700 Nm of torque, providing a balance of performance and fuel economy for heavy-duty transport tasks.

This tipper has a gross vehicle weight of 28,000 kg. Its CNG tank capacity of 518 litres allows operators to optimize running range while using a cleaner fuel infrastructure.

Inside the cabin, Signa 2820.TK CNG features power steering with tilt adjustment, a blower AC system, and an analog cluster ensuring driver comfort and convenience on long jobs.

For safety, the truck includes service brakes and a reverse parking buzzer, helping drivers navigate tight construction sites and work zones with improved confidence and control.
