Propel’s 470 HEV-COAL is a heavy-duty electric 8×4 tipper designed for mining and construction — combining zero emissions with high performance.

The 470 HEV-COAL has a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 55,000 kg, making it suitable for demanding coal, overburden and material haulage in mining operations.

Propel 470 is powered by a PMSM electric motor delivering 350 kW peak power and 2,800 Nm torque, the tipper ensures strong acceleration and torque delivery even under full load.

The tipper is available in 256 kWh and 385 kWh battery variants; the 470 HEV supports fast charging and regenerative braking, enhancing energy efficiency and uptime.

The tipper measures 10190 mm in length, 2800 mm in width, 3700 mm in height, with a 6215 mm wheelbase, offering optimal balance of stability and manoeuvrability for rough terrain.

Featuring a 7-speed clutch-less EMT transmission and heavy-duty inverted bogie rear suspension with parabolic leaf springs, the truck delivers smooth drivability and load stability.
