Ford Entering India's Light Commercial Vehicle Market

Ford is considering entering the light commercial vehicle and pick-up segment. As part of its strategy to make a comeback in India.

Ford is currently running a program under which internal combustion engines as well as electric commercial vehicles are being considered for the Indian market.

Ford announced last week, its re-entry into the Indian market, saying, a letter of intent has been submitted to the Tamil Nadu government.

Ford will take a final decision on its India-related plans in December.
