Eicher Pro X EV: First Electric Truck to Complete Kashmir → Kanyakumari Journey

The Eicher Pro X EV has made history by completing the Kashmir to Kanyakumari route under full load, covering over 4,000 km in 6 days.

This historic journey began in Srinagar on January 20 and concluded in Kanyakumari on January 26, 2026, traversing the Himalayas, plains, Deccan Plateau and coastal terrain.

This achievement set four national records and earned recognition from the India Book of Records as the first and fastest electric commercial truck to complete the route fully loaded.

Eicher Pro X EV utilised public charging stations accessed via the MyEicher App, proving that highway charging infrastructure can support electric commercial vehicles across long distances.

Eicher Pro X EV typically features an 80 kW electric motor, 300 Nm torque, and battery options around 32–40 kWh, enabling practical range for city and regional freight roles.

Eicher Pro X EV variants in the ~3.0–3.5 t GVW class deliver real-world range of 200–250 km per charge, with payload capability approx. 1700–1760 kg, ideal for last-mile logistics.
