Delhi has taken a big step by launching 400 new electric buses under the Delhi Electric Vehicle Interconnector (DEVi) initiative.

The DEVi bus has 23 seats, of which six are exclusively reserved for women, and 13 seats are for standing passengers.

DEVi buses include GPS tracking, CCTV, voice announcements, panic buttons, and wheelchair ramps, offering safe, smart, and accessible travel.

The fare structure ranges between Rs. 10 and Rs. 25, while women can travel free of cost. The DEVi bus promises reliable, cost-effective public transport.

The DEVi electric buses will run at intervals of 10 minutes, ensuring frequent and reliable service for urban commuters.

These 400 electric buses have been deployed in East and West Delhi in the first phase, which will cover areas like Ghazipur, Vinod Nagar East and Nangloi.
