Omega Seiki Unveils the electric LCV truck M1KA 3.0
OSM is into manufacturing of electric commercial vehicles in India, some of its electric three wheelers are Rage, Rage+ & Rage+ Frost and last year in the month of September , the company unveiled the first electric small commercial vehicle of India named Omega Seiki M1KA.
Omega Seiki Mobility was founded in 2018 by Anglian Omega Group which is a Faridabad, Haryana based company, established in 1971. Company has started manufacturing electric vehicles Rage & Rage+, electric three wheeler with the vision to become the Tesla of the East for cargo vehicles. Omega Seiki Mobility is basically a part of Anglian Omega Network which manufactures the cold farming parts for the automotive & rail industries worldwide.
Company further expanded OSM to enter B2B business with two-wheelers, and pure-electric Made-in-India small & light commercial vehicles and now planning to launch electric medium and heavy commercial vehicle soon.

Omega Seiki recently launched the M1KA 3.0 EV, an electric light commercial vehicle with a payload of 3 ton and weighs about 5 ton. The payload of any vehicle is the load carrying capacity which is determined by subtracting the kerb weight or empty weight of the vehicle from its gross vehicle weight (GVW). This 3 ton payload electric truck definitely attracts the buyers who generally use LCV trucks for city movement applications.

With the 96.77 kWh powerful battery, Omega Seiki M1KA 3.0 electric truck claims 180 Km of a superior range in a single charge. The charging time of the battery is 6 to 8 hours by an AC charger whereas a DC charger takes about 2 hours for full charge

Omega Seiki Mobility’s newly launched electric four wheeler LCV truck M1KA 3.0 is powered by 96.77 kWh battery. The battery is designed to produce a maximum power of 170 HP and a high-end torque of 415 Nm. The maximum gradeability of this light commercial vehicle electric truck OSM M1KA 3.0 is about 30%. 30 percent gradeability of any LCV cargo truck is really good, the term gradeability is actually an ability to climb slopes and it helps in off road conditions. In construction vehicles gradeability matters the most.
Wheelbase & Dimension of the Omega Seiki electric truck
The wheelbase of this newly launched electric truck is 3360 mm and the dimension of vehicle is 6040 x 2160 x 2270 mm. The dimension of the truck defining the real picture of the electric truck that this will really cater the 3 ton payload LCV truck segment and attracts the light trucks buyers. The tyre size of the truck is 17 inches and the top speed of the truck is 90 Km/hr.
Where is Omega Seiki Plant Located ?
Omega Seiki owns plants in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh from where company is planning to produce a range of small, medium and heavy electric commercial vehicle. Omega Seiki will use its Vishakhapatnam plant as an export hub for its electric light commercial vehicle. This Vizag electric truck manufacturing plant is capable of producing 10000 units a month and company aims to raise it to 20000 units output by the next year. The company is working on different projects based on the platform of M1KA 3.0.
